My wife wants some space!

I'm a 42 Y.O male and i just celebrated my 10'th anniversary Dec. 22, 2007 and this past year or so hase'nt been going so well. My question is my wife has told me she is wanting to get a seperation to get her head together and have some time to herself to [WORK ON GATHERING HER THOUGHTS AND SHE NEEDS SOME SPACE] We have two beautiful children and i'm not wanting this seperation!! I love my wife ,but i have some suspisions that i may have been cheated on as close as Dec.19 2007 . she finally told me that she went to dinner with her aunt's roomate (who happens to be the same age as me) for his birthday. i never would have known untill she told me after the fact. I'm concerned about the deciption that occured .The secrecry of it from me ,and i am lost as how i should react/respond about it! living in hell with my emotions dsh

Please don't make the foolish mistake of letting someone lie to you. Sometimes we love so much that we want to believe and if you allow them that unfortunately they take advantage. Search your heart, and try to communicate, listen and you will know if it's not the truth. My husband has lied to me so many times, and I wanted to believe, I wound up in tears, until I decided not to be a doormat anymore. Good luck
