Quick question????

In Pennsylvania, after a divorce order has been filed, can a spousal support order be modified? I am a male, ignore my user name, lol. My soon to be ex filed for spousal support almost 2 years ago. She gets half my pay. We have since filed for the divorce. Just playing the waiting game now. I was told the spousal support order can not be motified once the divorce has been filed, by either party. She is now threatening to take me back to court for more support. She gained jurisdiction through domicile. I will plan to file again in my county after the 90 days since she isn't going to budge any with the dirvorce. I am only hoping this time I will get jurisdiction due to her not being cooperative. Thanks You.

No, she can't get more then - it has to show a change on YOUR end for her to get an increase. If she tries, you argue that she is employable as well as the change is not warranted, and you will be fine.

My income has not changed any, and I dout she is going to show she has income except for the spousal support.

I am not self employed and my income has not changed. She is just greedy and wants more money from me. I was told that the spousal support order is set in stone ounce the divorce has been filed and can't be modified until it is settled through the divorce agreement. I am trying to find out how true this is.
