angry exwife makes 4 times more yearly than my current wife and myself combined

If you are unable to work due to a medical condition is there a way to have child support reduced or suspended for that period?

I wish ex's wouldn't make it all about money .The way i see it is my husbands ex is in a way abusing his kid by keeping him from seeing him just to get even.his child misses out on knowing his step sisters and brothersand of course me and my mom.all because she wants to act like a child

You probably can - but what is really best for the kids is what you should do.

We are talking about children's needs here right? I'm confused? If you can pay for your kids needs, do it! Remember, you may not be "in love" with the other parent, but these are children! We should not be taking a poll on what everyone (that supposedly cares or is involved) should pay. God, I swear these kids are smarter than us! I've been majorly screwed, but right now I would rather spend quality time with my kids. The heartbreak of divorce as been hard enough. I'll never make out like my x, but I'll make it! I'm scared for my future, but more hurt for my kids knowledge of these sad facts of divorce. Unfortunately, it seems like there is no easy answer. But, as we know, we can always spend more money fighting in court!

Talk to an attorney, I believe in most states child support is income based, so you may be able to get it reduced.
