Do you always get a headache after talking to your ex?

My ex likes to control how we communicate, she says she will only use email. Dumb me . . . whenever we talk on the phone she finds a way to get my goat and then hangs up on me thus making me happy when I realize we are not married and to forget her. I refuse to give her more than single word answers via email (she used every written communication against me in court). No head ache afterwards just relief that I dont have to see her (or anything else) ever again. :-D

I am glad I am not alone in this. I was proud of myself the weekend before Thanksgiving I hung up on him because he was being such an ass. I went a whole week and a half without talking to him on the phone maybe just maybe he got the message that I don't have to deal with his bullshit. Only time will tell.

YES! He has this way of reminding me why I left him every time we talk. I try not to talk to him as much as possible. My only issue is that my children who could never stand him when I was with him have now suddenly become his? Not only am I very confused but they invite him for family gatherings and holidays even though they know we can't be around each other so now I am the one who has to stay away from my own children when he's around? I feel like my world has crumbled around me sometimes. I put so much effort into giving all my love and support to my children when he treated them so badly and now I'm the one who is outcast. He has made them feel so sorry for him that they treat me like the bad guy for finally getting out. yet they tell me that I needed to do it because we were no good for each other.

I forgot to mention that my children are all from my first marriage. they aren't his

Yeah I get a headache and feel like vomitting every time I see his ugly face--so I don't talk to him anymore and try not to look at him as much as possible--which is easy since the ass doesn't get the boys anymore for visitation.

i cant talk to my ex at all. we are going to use a program called family wizard. a program that you email  to talk to each other. I hate talking to him, he never lets me talk or finish my sentences.

stop talking to him.  text is so much better. forces you both into short, short conversations.  learn to love "y", "n" and "ok".  they will be your friends.
