There are some laywers that will give out free legal advice on the phone but you could also call legal aid if its available. You may also be able to call up dor and see what advice that they may have

Has child support been granted? Most states have a fee assessed by your spouses income, it is a straight percentage, your current decree should state this, or if you are separated and wondering what it would be, the support worksheet should be available through your superior court system in your town. Call them and keep asking what you want and they will keep transfering you until you reach the person who can help. If your decree has been granted, call the Judge's office and they will refer (they can't give advice but they usually will tell you where to go) If you have special issues like a child who needs special medical care or extra help in school, you may be able to get an increase, be specific about what you need and how much you want and why. If there are no "forms" that apply, and you don't want to incurr attorney's fees, a good paralegal can write your petition/motion, to your original judge, the judge will schedule a hearing, and ask you to explain your motion. Hope that

you should just go to the court house. i don't know how it works where you live, but at most court houses, they offer free services. it should help to get the process started. or, contact the lawyer that helped with the divorce and ask him/her what to do next.

there is a link over here on the right side called state resources. click that and go to your state. click around until you find what you are looking for. there are services, at the courts, that will help you with this for free/low fee.
