No pain, no gain

Note to self, if you are going to make pancakes the night before to save time, don’t leave them in the microwave too long when you are heating them up or they will get stiff and almost too hard to eat. OK…got it! I choked it down even though it grossed me out a bit. Ive come to the conclusion that you will eat anything if you’re hungry and dieting. Lesson learned….That being said, this morning as I was walking across the parking lot, a coworker shouted out “looking good!" Wow, that really made my day. I have felt big as a house this week, I’m so glad I don’t look it. The scale moved down again but I’m still ½ pound over what I initially lost. I can’t wait to shed this water weight. Yesterday, I tried the chocolate crunch bar. OMG, it was so good. I’m not sure if it was because I was in dire need of chocolate but it tasted almost like a nestle crunch bar. What a wonderful treat. This week has been tough but I know it will pass. Next week is going to be a better one. I can just feel it!
