It was harder than I thought

Well, we're home and I'm not sure what the scales are going to say tomorrow. Yesterday, I lost my food diary and I freaked out. Actually, obsessed is more like it. I didn't realize I lost it until we were at the restaurant for dinner so I had to wing it. I don't think I did bad with my choices. I may have eaten a bit more than they recommended. For instance, how do you order a 1 oz steak? I had to go with 7oz. Yes, I could have had all salad but I choose to have one on the side. No potato, double veggies. I also had Diet Coke with Caption Morgan...a few. This morning when we went to breakfast, that was harder than dinner. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I watched DBF Michael eat biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, and hash browns to top it off. What did I have? Ham and egg omelet with a side of fruit and sour dough toast. What I wanted??? Pancakes, bacon, and hash browns to go with my omelet....but, its all good. I think I might feel like I over ate because I wasn't eating their food. Actually though, I ate portions way smaller than I'm use to and found my self fuller, faster. I put my fork down in between bites and tried to make my food last. Tomorrow, we will see what the scales says. I did get alot of exercise though. We walked around for about 90 minutes, and according to Nutrisystems, I burned over 600 calories. Lets hope thats enough to offset any overtures I may have. Until tomorrow....

wow, nice job lori!  Especially for your first weekend!!  You made a lot of good choices!  What's great about what you're doing, is making a lifestyle change.  so, in your new lifestyle, cutting back and making better choices will just come naturally..your own your way.  some days will be better than other like anything else.  Be proud of yourself for doing a fabulous job winging it!!  I commend you!  I would have gotten the pancakes and homefries and thought "screw it, tomorrow is monday..i'll start again"  but you held on!!

keep it up[!!

I called Nutrisystems and they sent me a Diary to download. In checking my stats, I actually did better than I thought. I was allowed a 3 oz steak, I went over on that but I was under on a few other things so I may be OK. We didnt eat breakfast until almost noon today so Im going to be under on my intake for the day. Hopefully it will show at the scales. I am continuing to drink my water though. Thats rough when your destination is 2 hours away but I survived:)
