Houston, We Have a Pudding!

Can you say pudding?  That's right, that's what I made in 2 minutes.  Well it could have taken less, but sometimes I'm slow at instructions.  Ikea furniture is a weekend project.

My NutriSystem box came with super-instant pudding, with chocolate chips in it!  Now that was good.  It even told me that I didn't have to chill it.  How cool was that?  12 stirs in a glass and I've got pudding.  Woo Hoo.

I have a small confession too:  I'm actually looking forward to colder weather so I can try the cocoa!

C'mon winter!

I mean say what you will about some of the other flavors, but NutriSystem does chocolate pretty good.

My dinner tonight was tacos. Now these tacos were technically enchiladas, but I'm not complaining.  I wanted to when my taco filling came in a powdery pouch form, but the flavor was really good.  I also used my fat and veggie units to add avocado and tomatoes to my tacos.

Mmmm.

Today's meals were really good.  It's almost one week in and I'm getting used to this.  I have to admit, I keep looking at my face in the mirror, and thinking I look lighter.  I know that's ubsurd, and I can't, not yet, not really, but still.  I think I do.  I'm not sure how much weight I've lost this week so far, I'll find out Tuesday, but I know I've lost some.

I'm actually kind of excited about this!

The chocolates aren't bad.  I had a package of those last night...

i couldn't agree more.  the pudding is great.  if you want to cheat just a tiny bit, add a bit of fat free whipped cream!  i still order the pudding (and a few other things) even though i am officially off the diet.

There's always a challenge Free Angel.  I'm glad you like the   pudding  I might try cooling it in the fridge next time...

Yeah, 15 packets...err...14 now. Your review was so inspiring that I helped myself to some just a moment ago. Quite tasty. I'm glad we agree! My only true challenge with NS is that my hypoglycemia and other dietary restrictions limit my available food choices. It's not a terrible thing -- just something to work around.

Yeah Paula!  It was a toss up between pudding and cake last night, cake got the early lead, but pudding worked in some fancy moves and took it to the mat.

I'm no sure how wrestling metaphors really work for dessert, but I think you get the idea.  :)

Freeangel, 15 packets?  WOW!    They are good!  And don't forget the dessert!  Fore me they're a lifesaver.  Well not the little hard candy, I didn't see that in my box...but because I used to late night snack a lot, the dessert takes the edge off late at night.

Oohh...so glad you reported in on this, Robert. I have 15 packets of chocolate-chip pudding in my cupboard. It may be hard to believe, but I keep forgetting to eat my dessert at night! So all I've tried so far is one of the cookies and the brownie. The brownie is very filling -- and very chocolatey!
