I am going to explain this better. I am a man. I live in Pennsylvania. I filed for a divorce in my county. I left my wife 5 years ago and live in a different county then she does. She filed for a divorce in her county after I filed in my county. She also filed an order to stay so she can have jurisdiction. We went to court. Her county took jurisdiction. It was 9/11/08. Now I am waiting for her. She is in no hurry. I filed a fault, she filed no fault. I want the divorce, she doesn't. I pay her over half of my weekly pay check without minor children. I have earned her her own pension. How long can she drag this out before we can get divorced? If it was in my ball court, I would have this done.

Loris, it's only been a month...here I'm thinking you are talking 6 months, a year, of nothing happening...

hell, Loris, if your "fault" based divorce went through in your county you'd be in for a much longer road than you are with her no-fault based divorce...get the ants out of your pants.

Most divorces, at the minimum, take 6 months to finalize. In PA, a no-fault based divorce has a 90 day waiting period after the filings to prove both parties are accepting of the divorce....so you have at the very least two more months of inactivity just based on PA law.
