…And true to their word, my NutriSystem Box arrived today. I'd read that Free Angel thought it would be bigger so I was expecting something about the size of a briefcase. Now I don't know if it's cuz "guys get to eat more" but my box was about the size of a small foot locker. It was almost exactly what I'd originally expected to see.
I was hoping to weigh in today, but things got in the way (no pun intended). I'll do it tomorrow morning before the breakfast.
Since one of the things I'll talk about going forward is the food, I thought I'd start by mentioning what I ate today. My last day eating normal food…
For breakfast, I had a bowl of Maple and brown sugar oatmeal and a cup of coffee.
Lunch, was a banana and water, oh, and coffee dredges from my mug.
Dinner was home made spaghetti with a salad. The spaghetti was made with Italian sausage, tons of tomato product, onion, garlic, and lots of general spices. My salad had red bell peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and was topped with ranch dressing. Yeah, I know, not an Italian staple, but it's all I had.
I'm going to have my last slice of apple pie later, and get rid of the a la mode topping too. That was today's meal.
I noticed something else too. I had though that all my food would come in the box. I was wrong. They allow for a lot of fruit, vegitables, and other outside "stuff." Now I'm going to have to go grocery shopping tomorrow.
One more thing I'll need to buy: blue milk. That's non-fat for those of you who aren't hip on your dairy lingo.
Still, I did discover I'll be eating "Veggie Fajitas." That's good. I don't think they had some of our D360 readers in mind when they made it though. They didn't ask me "green or red."
So that's my reality for the next 28 days. I'm actually excited. I looked at the food portions, I actually get a lot when you include the fruit, and proteins.
Here's to a smaller Rob!
