exwife has custody, but my child has been living with grandma&grandpa .Asked them if she is and they said no ex has been sick ,but she is not sick and this has been going on for 3mo,asked my kid and she said no dad ...asked if her mom has been sick ? she say'a no dad
if my exwife can't take care of my child ,child should be here with me ...how could i get custody
does she have sole custody? If so, it will be very hard for you to get custody - she has a right to let anyone she chooses care for the child, for as long as she chooses - you don't have a say in that.
It could very well be that she is sick, and they feel it is absolutely none of your business.
If you want to try for custody, then you need to hire a very good attorney and expect it to get very expensive as there will be a lot of evaluations that will have to happen before a judge will even consider it.If you have joint custody you have a shot *IF* she isn't sick and is instead off doing something bad - but you will have to prove she is neglecting the child & being self destructive. You need to discuss this with an attorney in your area who you can share a lot more details with to decide if this is something you could pursue. I'm not trying to be discouraging -it's just how it goes...
