hi again, i have another question, my husband has filed for equitable distribution for all martial property. can he do this. he is working and living in iraq hes retired military. i live in the home with our children. also on the complaint hes attorney says he s been a resident of north carolina for 6 months prior filing when the last time he was in nc was june of this year. he has a nc drivers id but has fairfield al for his residence on the separation paper that i didnt sign and the same alabama address is on his finance papers, bills which i had obtain for proof. can i use any of this information a gainst him?

hi barkley. he works in iraq. has a nc drivers lience. had all is mail and information changed to a alabama address. he filed his paper work for separation in june of 2007 in north carolina. when he came home to visit so is north carolina his residence since he filed here or does he have to file in alabama since he uses alabama for a address .

I am not sure I am following you. Are you trying to say that he is lying about his residence? I do not think where he lives has much bearing on the divorce outcome. I would try not to try and find info. against him, just get it over with so you can move on with the kids and be happy. Please give more information so I can help you better.
