What happens next

I have a question and maybe all of you out there might have some advice or insight.  What happens if he doesn't show up for the initial court hearing or submit his financial documents to the court or to me?

I appreciate all your comments, It is nice to start to have people who are going thru this and understand.  Some of my friends tell me this is all drama and I should just get over it and go on.  I am trying but sometimes it is really hard to do that. It took me a long time to make a commitment again and to really trust someone, and then to find out I made a mistake again.

Double check with your attorney, but it seems to me that if he does not show up or produce the appropriate docuements then the divorce will be granted.  Not sure though.  Let us know what happens.

I think paula is right. If he doesn't show and doesn't get a continuance then I think you will probably be granted what you have asked for.

not sure exactly, but he has a time limit that he has to either submit the documentation or ask for more time....which is yet another document.  some states, i think, let the party who shows up get whatever they ask for.....but i'm not 100% on this.
