Stay or Go?

My wife thinks she has a "STD", which she thinks is my fault. She says if it's true I'm history. I'm a stay at home Mom, for 4 Yrs. now. I'm 100% sure it is not me, but if she says go, must I leave?? I don't want to leave, but what can she do to throw me out? thank you in advance, Chuck

A person can be taken to civil court depending on the STD. The only way you can prove it isn't you is to be tested. If it is herpes, the most accurate blood test is the Western Blot and it is available through the University of Washington, Seattle Virology team. Herpes is transmittable even when using condoms and even when there is no active outbreak. Go to the health department together and get tested for all STD's including HIV. If you are fooling around and gave her something. Admit it, and figure out what is wrong in your marriage. Then try to work on it together. Divorce sucks.

You know the truth. If you have been faithful then obviously it is her that has not been faithful. How long have you two been married. If she thinks she has STD why would she not go to the DR. to have it confirmed before jumping to all these conclusions and blaming you. Let's wait to see if you both have it first.

I think that the two comments, Vicki, (spot on) and Theresa, informative, helpful.

This doesn't make sense to me. If she really has an STD and you are 100% sure it's not you, then that means it's her, right? So, maybe she wants a divorce and is just causing a fight to ease her guilt?

If you are both on the deed for the house, you can't be thrown out.
