I can understand your concerns about the expense of the site.  But, when compared to the cost of a single hour of legal counsel in most states, the site is very affordable.  Also, we do partially or fully scholarship families who cannot afford to use our site, if they can provide the appropriate documentation.  Divorce is not a cheap endeavor for any family, so anything that can be done to avoid costly return trips to court is in the family's best interest. 

The problem with using just a log or journal is that it doesn't provide the level of documentation needed in many high conflict divorces.  Who said what and when it was said becomes very important.

In addition, our tools are not just to record the history, but also to plan for the future.

Hmmm...I am not at that stage yet, but I would not be able able to afford that extra expense.  I think it's just as simple to write things in a log or journal..
