What to do with the ring?

I remember, 4 years ago everything was perfect. And I went the classic path: misunderstanding, tension, dispute, and then after a few month , the common impression that the divorce was unavoidable. Now that I moved on in my life, I got ride of almost everything that was linked to Mary. Except maybe one thing: the ring. I know, I know, a lot of people keep them in a drawer as a symbol of the past. But for me it seems like it would allow me some relief to just have it out of my life too. When I purchased this ring its price was a symbol of my love, now I wish I could have some of this back. I went to the jewelery store I purchased it at and they only proposed 30% of its price! So after the lawyers, the divorce, now I have to get ripped of by yet another profession? Finally I went online and found one website (it's called idonowidont.com ) and it seems decent. I was wondering if anybody tried their services and if you had some advices on this. I would greatly appreciate.

Where did you buy the ring from? The place we bought ours from will do a trade. I'm not sure as to the specifics of the trade (I haven't actually had the guts to go to them yet) but I think it's 100% value towards an equal purchase. Couldn't you use a nice new watch to start your new life? :-)

I think getting rid of the ring will help to add closure to the situation. As far as the company you are asking about, Ive never heard of them but if they are a reputable company, Id go for it.

why don't you make the ring into something else entirely. It could become a symbol or how you overcame your troubles, instead of how you got ripped off by them. if the money would make a huge difference in your life, go for the ebay thing. Otherwise, use your imagination and think outside of the box. you may end up getting some huge rewards just for thinking differently than everyone else.
