I wanted to share this poem that I wrote while my divorce was being finalized. I hope it provides some inspiration to those just starting on their journey to divorce. Even though I am 3 months out from my official divorce date and still have good days and bad.....I keep forging ahead to a better life. I hope you all find the strength to continue on to a happier life...we all deserve that!
Finding Myself
With every waking moment
With every invigorating breath
I realize I am finding my spirit
I am rediscovering my soul
My being was lost on an ocean of water
I awoke one morning to see my reflection again
