I don't think that's a table that can be turned and why would you want to turn it?? Feel lucky it hasn't turned into physical abuse......yet. Unless there is a really good reason why you tolerate it, you need to leave. Instead of turning the table, push it up against the door and rid yourself of it.

Are you being abused because you are not being physically touched, but you are being beat down and emotionally torn apart? Is every move you make being scrutinized and watched? Are you constantly being made to feel as if you are worthless and less than human? What is going on? I can guarantee that one of us out here can relate and help you as best we can. Let us know.

What on earth do you mean by "turn the table on an emotional abuser?" Do you mean emotionally abuse him back? Why would you want to do that? Do you mean gain the upper hand? Then leave...not necessarily divorce, but leave until he gets the therapy he needs.
