Ex taking kids this weekend - REFUSES to put up a pool fence

He claims that he is a more devoted father because he does not have a pool fence, and that means he is watching his kids 24/7.....and that people with pool fences are negligent because they use it a crunch and don't watch out. UNREAL? anyway, the law does not actually require a pool fence and so therefore he refuses to get one..when i ask if the minimum requirements are sufficient for his children, he says yes. no idea what to do now. any ideas?

Vicki... can they swim?? I would make damn sure they were excellent swimmers... I pulled a small child out of the pool last summer and he did not make it.. I still have horrible nightmares over that...
