spaznskitz HELP!!!

Yesterday my stbx husband was served on the job. Along with the summons and complaint he received a "Standing Pendete Lite Order" signed by the judge.

The order includes:

1. Injunction Against Harassment
2. Preservation of Assets
3. Payment of Monthly Assests
4. Negotiation of Other Conditions
5. Showing Required for Evidentiary Hearing
6. This Court "Rules of Court/Standing Pre-Trial Orders" and Standing Order for Mediation are IBR.

To get the ball rolling I created a communication log, next I sent my stbx an email outlining the current months bills, as stated in the order that all bills should be paid as was before the filing of the action. I copied my attorney and advised my stbx to "reply all" when responding and to include his counsel.
Have I missed anything? Since he was served yesterday, 7/1/08 and he the order states that the parties "shall" coordinate the payment of fixed bills, how long should I give him to make payments?

pfft - anyone can appeal anything - doesn't mean they will have the appeal granted.

If he retains an attorney they won't appeal it - if he tries to handle the case pro se he might make a dumb move like that...wait n see...

Thank you so much!!!

You're right - I thought about #1 especially considering his past actions.

So far, no word from him... I'm sure he's angry. I went a month with no communication, so he had no immediate idea the papers were coming. However, I told him in April that he had until our anniversary, which was 6/29 to get his act together or I would file contested. As a woman of my word, The papers were filed in court on the 6/27, I received them on the 6/30 and overnighted them to the process server, the process server received them 7/1 mid-morning and 4 hours later he was served on the job.

It was well orchestrated and did with the utmost discretion, although I wish I had a picture to see the expression on his face (I'll just put myself in the corner for that = X)

Anyway... I'll give him until 7 days after the first bill is due to take it to the next level. I'm sure he is trying to find counsel and a way around the court order.

My question is, if the "Standing Pendente Lite Order" is the standard for "all" civil actions this judge presides over, as stated in the order, can he appeal it?

hey there - in the future, e-mail me here and alert me if you have anything on the boards you want me to see just in case I don't run across it - it alerts my regular e-mail =)

You did fine - the only thing I'd advise in the future though, especially if you want to keep #1 to a minimum - is to have your attorney send correspondence to his attorney and the two of you discuss things that way - it's what they are there for & you have an indisputable paper trail of communication - if the two of you get into an e-mail argument - and you were the one who sent the initial e-mail - you can't file a contempt charge for harassment.

You take issue with the bills if they go over a week late of the due date...
