HELP

my husband of almost yrs has been very abusive verbally, emotionally and physically toward me and my 2 kids who are 5 and 2, as well as very controlling. he controlls all the money, i have to beg for money for food, he acts very childish, has pulled the spark plug wires out of my car so I couldnt leave and I had to call police, he tells me at least once a month to leave with the kids and go back to tn with my mom. I now live in IL. But when I try to pack he will stop me and tell me to stop making a mess...what do I do?

Call the police and pack your things and your children with the police present. Here in SC the police will stay and protect you and you children while you pack and until you can leave.. Call the local police and see if they will assist you. When he is physically abusive, have him arrested and leave while he is in jail. Also check with a lawyer about an  emergency spousal support  and child support order from the court If you can not afford a lawyer check with a local Legal aid in your area. You are in my prayers and I hope you can get away.
