cell phone calls to a "friend"/can they be used against him?

My husband and I have been separated for a month. Right after separation there have been 5 calls shown up on bill to a friend of opposite sex who is also divorced. Husband says it was just to talk and get advice. I am not so convinced of that. could this be used against him?

Just phone calls on a bill, I don't think so.
