my husband bought his home before we married
what is the legality of ownership now that we are married in new jersey?

shold he leave his home for his grown children
should he cover my security in a differnt form, like life insurance?
is this home legally mine also that we are now married
should i really have to be fair and split everything with his children

I married him for love
But if god for bid something happens tohim while we are married and in his house, i dont want to be put out in the street because his kids will come and take over...............thats what i mean be fair? i dont want the money from the house.....................but ilive and sleep with the man i dont pay the any of the mortgage because he makes 4 times what i make i contribute to other things in the household........

legally, all that you have rights to is a portion of the equity accrued during your marriage and ONLY if you help pay for the mortgage with your own funds - otherwise the home stays exclusively his to do with what he wants,

What do you mean "do you really have to be fair?" did you marry him for love or did you marry him for his money?
