Collection of Retirement

My ex(Marty) has quit talking to me because of the fact that I have been trying to collect a portion of his retirement that I am entitled to.  Marty has been receiving it since he retired (about 4 years)  and I am still trying to receive it.  Marty has always told me that if I ever needed anything whether it was for the boys or for myself I should ask for it and if he had it he would give it to me.  I have asked for $150.00 and he gave it to me and I have promised to give it back but it might not be right away.  Marty said that was fine since he was in no hurry for it.  Over a year ago I went to see an attorney to see about getting what I was entitled to and at first I was told that I may not be able to get it.  Recently Marty has since sent me a text message regarding this and I have since come to find out that Marty was served with papers regarding the retirement.  Marty's income tax has been taken from him and will soon be sent to me.  Marty is now furious with me because of all of this and has said not to bother asking for anymore favors.  I will also be increasing my child support due to the increases in everyday life expenditures.

You are entitled to part of that retirement. He was hoping you wouldn't find that out. Too bad. You shouldn't feel sorry at all. Get what you can for your children and yourself.

You should not feel bad.  You will get what the court feels is fair and just.  Let your attorney handle all of this.
