FL separation agreement? is it possible?

I have been separated for a few months from my husband, we have not pursued divorce yet and I want to wait 8 months or so because of some financial things. Howver, I want to start a new company, but do not want him toown half, I have contacted a few lawyers here in FL and no one seems to know if I can do a separation agreement. Anyone had this issue in florida?

yes.....the business is very time sensitive...my new lawyer told me that if I file, but don't serve him with papers, it shows a separation date that will be viewed by the court as the official separation date (ie if either of us racks up credit card debt after that day we are not liable, nor can he get at my new business.) But I would like some back up...any one encountered this in florida?

i don't know the answer either, but i do know that both starting a business and divorcing are very hard things.  doing both at the same time could prove to be a bad idea.  why not focus on one first?  is there some rush to start this new business?
