just found out wife has had a relationship for 7 months online phone text email etc.. never met any advice

Honestly I don't know.

I have forgiven my husband for two affairs. One I guess lasted for a couple years. I wanted so much for each time for him to come back to me and stay with me and that we could be happy together again.  But, he doesn't love me and is not trying to regain a love with me.  It is just easier for him to stay with me until I do the devorce thing than for him to go through with it.

The wife is not happy or it wouldn't have happened in the first place. And, unless that is completely resolved then it will happen again.

You have two choices - marital counseling to try to pick up the pieces from her emotional affair - or walk away and don't look back.

Personally, I advise you try marital counseling - so that way you can honestly say you tried everything before calling it quits.

It might have felt good to you to have tracked down the spouse of the other person - but I wouldn't say it was your best move. Your attention needs to be focused on your situation - not anyone elses.
