Support Payment Adjustments?

My kids live in GA, while I live on Cape Cod. I have my kids for all vacations include 8 straight weeks in the summer. Should I get an adjustment in my child support during the 2 months of have them living with me? My monthly payments are almost $2,000 a month, and when they are with me should that money go towards supporting them?

Does the mother of your children receive a reduction in her mortgage payment while the kids are gone? Do her fixed bills like phone, power, etc get cut in half? I know she
probably buys less food...but I doubt it is $2000 less. Do you pay her extra for any visitation days that are unable to see the kids? Child support covers the cost of supporting your children - why would you want to put their mother, who apparently provides 24/7 care for your children 10 months of the year behind a financial 8 ball? The agreement re: child support was made with the knowledge of the visitation schedule - don't try to change the arrangement now. If you feel taken advantage of, maybe your wife would be happy to have the kids back home earlier.
