Anyway you look at this, it would be better to seek the legal guidance since there is property in the formula. And, as for the alimony (...maintenance...)...? It may prove difficult to sustain your case in court considering that you have been financially on your own for the past 2 years; although, this too, is a question for the legal experts that would be able to build your case and strategy prior to a court date.
