I am divorcing my husband it turned into Domestic Violence and then Violation of Injunction. He went to jail car was impounded (tailgating me) now bank has it and wants to take mine as he co-signed on mine. They are going to auction his, am I responsible for what he owes, will they put a lean on my car for remainder?

Get the court to give you full use and posession of the car you have right now - get it refinanced into your name only ASAP, otherwise they can, and will, put a lein on your car & anythign else he might own.

VERY IMPORTANT - keep in touch with the bank, DO NOT avoid their calls - explain the situation, if you have paid on time they may even refinance it for you provided you can prove you were given the car in your divorce & hold you harmless on the other one as due to your marriage, you could be held liable for any unresolved amount from the auction.
