ITS FINALLY OVER YEAH!!!!

Well today was the day, mediation day.. I was so scared because i did not know what was going to happen.. I went at 10 am this morning and it lasted till 7 30 pm.. omg my ex is the cheapest mf on the face of this earth.. even the mediator said that he was cheap.. she had to scare the pants off of him to make him understand that he lost... told him that if he did not pay his back child support and bills that they will put him in jail... no excuses.... so he thought that he would get away with the last 7 years.. lol.. no way. he got what was coming to him and then some.. he walked out with his tail between his legs.. lol.. what an ass... so its finally done.. signed sealed and delivered.. no more court hearings yay...

i can finally live my life and get him off my back.. i can say this, i learned a big lesson.. i have learned not to let him control me any more.. i stood my ground and did not give up.. yay..

now he knows what it feels like to lose.. he even lost on visitations too..

he wanted 1/2 the summer he got 1 week. he wanted every other spring break he got 1/2 of spring break.. my kids dont want to be with him any more..

he did this to himself, now i can live....

you know i thought things would be better and easier by now but my ex is such an a**hole.. he continue to bother me and hurts my kids.. when does it end???

Cher it makes me proud not that you won all that you wanted but I sensed a smile while you were writing this. You little missy know how it feels and I beleive you will not let another person control you in such a way. Now the best part is after dealing with him through this can you smell his kind of person before they even step from around the corner. I wish you the best and I knew you had it in all along. you are a winner free at last free at last. oh I borrowed that. ;)

Sometimes th eonly thing that those cold unfeeling bastards understand is a large bite out of their wallets. Good for you, Cher! It's nice to see that Justice is not blind, that sometimes she favors the interests of the children.

hey james, in reality the kids won.. i did this for them because they deserve to be happy.. i never wanted to go to court but my ex took me. the kids will benefit from this.my ex is a cruel man to his kids too... please email me so we can really talk ok.. miss talking to ya..

Cherbear, Congratulations. That was 9 hrs. Wow!!! that was a long time. I'm so glad that you won. Spaz is right. The kids are going to make his life miserable when they have to go over there. That is great news that you won. Some of these ex's can be such a _ _ _ s. I only wish that we could see that side of them ahead of time and give us the chance to change our minds in the process, althought we probably wouldn't. We're too young and idealistic. Again great news and congratulations. I have a friend who recently took her first husband back to court regarding the child support on their daughter who is disabled. (she was born with spina bifida) and the jerk hardly paid any child support. He got socked with now having to pay close to $1500 a month to include back pay and current. Her daughter is 18 but she is still in high school because she missed so much school when she was younger due to surgeries and being sick. I love it when they get their just desserts. M.

While there are truly no winners or losers in all of this, I am happy for you. While it is great hearing how it's great you thought about the kids first, it still sucks that it came to this. I am so glad that the better parent won. Yet in the end the kids lose, keep lovnig them and be the best mom ever. Like you coulnd't, duh. The beginning of a thousand step journey begins with the first step. (I don't know who said it first). Keep on being.

Awesome my dear - now you can get on with gettin on =)

Even if he doesn't "leave you alone" I think this whole experience has given you the backbone you need to not put up with, or be so badly affected by, any pathetic attempt he may make to rattle you anyway.

The other thing you have to look forward to and smirk about - those kids are going to make him miserable anytime they are there.

gemi, yes, i hope he finally learned that he cant have his cake and eat it too.. he tried everything to get out of paying what he owes. then tried to take advantage of the visitation rights with the kids.. call me when you get a chance ok..

YES!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! Cher hun, neither you nor your kids deserved to have to go through all that hell of last few years but than perhaps the outcome feels even sweeter... YES!!!!!!!I so hope he finally really learns his lesson and gets some sense and/of responsibility...

thanks angie, he has put my kids and i through so much in the last year and a half.. you are right he deserves much more..maybe he will learn and leave me alone...

i just want to thank you guys for your great comments.. it really means alot.. i have been through alot with my ex and maybe now he will leave me alone.. hopefully he learned a very valuable lesson here...

ann, the mediator had to pull teeth to get him to agree with every thing.. he really thought he was going to come out smelling like a rose.. huh.. not.. it would be nice for him to see the inside of a jail... jerk..

dac.. yes he lost. i am soooo happy about that.. even with visitations too.. my kids are happy tooo..

i am happy for you. will you get paid up quickly? somehow though i wish he and my ex would get a taste of the crossbar hotel. just to let them know how prison (even and emotional one) feels.
