A useless piece of gold - What to do with my ring?

As I move on, I'm trying to decide what to do with my wedding ring.  There are so many choices I'm just not sure what to do with it.

1.  Sell it

2. Throw it away.

3.  Have it melted down

4.  Donate it

5.  Give it to a homeless guy

6.  Use it as a fishing lure

7.  Present it to stbx's bf

8.  Present it to a large-toed woman (toe ring).

9.  Go to the dentist (gold tooth)

10.  Use it on my keychain

How about you?  What did you do with your ring?

lol....those are all some great ideas. I still have mine and get sick to my stomach whenever I look at it....I guess that means it is time to get rid of it. I am thinking of pawning it and splittling the money between my kids since they were the only good thing that came out of that marriage.

Very funny.  I like the idea of selling it on ebay, although imagine the look on your ex's face when your tell her that the homeless man under the bridge is now having a party with the proceeds!

Hi HereIGo -

I have to say I got a good laugh out of your post.  How about these suggestions:

Okay, here goes the top ten things to do with your wedding band after you get divorced:

10. Pawn it and use the money for a night out
9. Send it to "Cash for Gold" in one of those funny postage paid envalopes
8. Make it into a very wide earring and pierce your ear..   or maybe you would like a belly button ring??
7. Give it to your attorney in payment of their fees... LMAO!!
6. Use it to hold your ascot in place next time you go to a fancy dinner
5. Sell it on EBay asking for just enough $$$ to buy a six pack and putting it on your toe for the photo...  the last guy who sold his x's wedding gown this way got many thousands of $$ and a few hundred wedding proposals
4. Make it into the One ring that rules all in Middle Earth
3. Put it in a bottle with a warning note and set it on the ocean
2. Make it into the world wierdest tie pin
... and the number one thing to do with your ring after you divorce...
1.  Start your own chain letter by sending it off to a friend who is also divorced
