Getting Older...it's not the age, it's the mileage!!!

So it just dawned on me as I was reviewing my personal tags on my profile that I was still listing myself as being in the 30-39 age bracket. Good Lord! I turned 40 on 09/05/2008, two Friday's ago. I remember my wife turned 40 on May 19 and how much she dreaded the day. Ha, I didn't flinch. Not once. Maybe once. Okay maybe I was a bit restless. But I still managed to keep 16 Stella's down on Saturday night.

So, here's to all the 40 + crowd! Cheers!

Now If I can just stop smoking. Like I told my brother at lunch today, one crisis/problem at a time dude.

Yeah, asim, I hit the wrong dang age category didn't I? Damn astigmatism.... Anyway, now the interweb nymphs wont allow me to access my own profile to change it back. Maybe I'll have something to blog tonight after my warm welcome home and I can change it then!

Happy belated Birthday!

I just turned 30 in February and I actually threw a party and embraced it with open arms when most of my other friends either are dreading it or simply melted down when they hit 30. I wrote a blog on another site about my thoughts on turning 30, which were actually very positive. I guess I got that positive mental attitude about age from my mother...for as paranoid and screwed up as she was/is, she was actually not afraid of her age or letting her hair go gray. She was my role model in that aspect and I am so glad she is positive about that area of her life!

Good to see the positive of aging, once again, and I look forward to celebrating that decade when I get there!

Okay now go back and change your profile again, you listed yourself in the 50-59 crowd. Don't think you want that either. LOL
