Divorce chat rooms

I have only found one online, and to me it is like a joke. People are actually mean to each other on there. Granted, I've only signed on twice, but I felt like I was butting in on the 'regulars' convo. Not supportive at all. Also...it's a chat format from like, 1992! HORRIBLE! I guess I need to re-educate myself on how to use instant messenger, but even then..are there any 'divorce' chat rooms.

I'll probably be posting later tonight about the divorce support group session I'll be attending later this evening.

This morning I woke up and decided to exercise. I feel like I accomplished something already.

I realized I need to feel good about myself right now. No one else is going to realize how important I am except me. So, I'm learning to like myself again. I think I can get back to that point, it is just going to take some time and getting rid of bad habits.

Right this moment..I feel like I could use a nap!

I was just looking back thru blogs and happened to see ths...

d360 IS working on a programme here so we will be chat room abled.......I think it will be different here than what you have experienced. I would like to see it all about maybe when people can't sleep at night both newbies and ol'bies will have a place to justcome and chat about what is bothering them....Who knows, it mayeven save someone from taking their life in a hasty sad mood!!! You just never know!

We (d360 members) are VERY excited about it... it will sure be alot more personal than on a firday night posting on each others walls back n forth!!!

Hi Sonja-

You must be referring to Divorce Source? LOL Yes its
unbelievably nasty in that chat! Trolls everywhere! I have found
a very nice chat. It's a site called divorce recovery suite and
has a nice chat interface with nice people but most important
is that it is monitored! Lots of supportive ppl.

Best regards,

I really do enjoy this format. It brings me peace and and an outlet with others who really do understand. There are enough battles to be endured, I don't want to engage in a chat version of one that's for sure.

I'm drawn here as well. It brings me comfort.

"...important I am..." - You may or may not realize this but the community that you have discovered within this site is very capable of caring and expressing our thoughts to other members without judgment; and, most of all, we do indeed look forward to the interactions of one another from day to day. Some of us disappear for a bit to do what we need to do in our healing processes; and, others camp out because it is a bigger part of what a day or two may consist of. I have found myself drawn here more so this past week because of personal pressures and I feel a release while I interact more with other members. Let us know how your day has been...
