Making ends meet to keep my beautiful home

So now that I am living back in my home. I am extremely happy. I want to live here, I do not want to sell my home, I want to raise my children here if possible. My ex and I are acting like roomates, however, I am still having difficulty with him here. He has another woman and hearing him on the phone or getting ready to go see her is taking its toll on me. With that being said, I need to be able to afford my home by my lonesome. The sooner I can do this the sooner he will leave, as he has plans to move in with her immediatley. My question is if anyone has any advice/tips on how to keep your home and be financially sound. My mortagage is quite high monthly, not to mention with daycare, misc bills, my cash flow is very tight. Is there anything that any of you are doing to help make ends meet, please share ideas.

I'd go to an attorney as soon as possible and see if there is a feasible way for you to keep the house.  Sometimes it works out - sometimes it just isn't.  Find out what is available for you in your specific situation.

Can you take in a paying room mate who won't break your heart?  I know a lot of people who do that so they can keep their home.

I sold everything that wasn't vital and paid off bills.  It was actually quite freeing to do so.
