Yes, we all know that moving on can be quite a challenge.
However, I firmly believe there is a "gift" in all the pain and struggle behind our divorces. We learn more about ourselves and why we are here. We also learn more about what it means to be a good parent and how to put our children's needs first when making our decisions.
I promise you it will pay off in the end. And your children with thank you! I know it seems a long way off. But you have a rewarding relationship with your children for decades after they leave home to go out on their own. They will appreciate your "conscious" parenting through and after the divorce.
My son recently got divorced with both his Dad and me there, both of us remarried. It was a wonderful experience and worth all the sacrifice and compromising during all the years we co-parented.
Try to keep that in mind when you're feeling low and overwhelmed by it all. You can and will thrive in the new chapters of your life.
Here's to a great tomorrow!
