“The Maureen Sullivan Stemberg Story: A Portrait in Courage” is a film about her battle with her ex, the founder of staples, to get a fair divorce settlement.
According to the article, her ex cut off her health insurance even though she had cervical and thyroid cancer. Strangely enough, her ex worked with Mitt Romney on the subject of everyone having a right to health insurance.
Maureen still battles immune deficiencies, and filed bankruptcy because of her money problems with her ex. She's writing a book about immune deficiencies called, "Looks Are Deceiving". That one will be a must read for me, because of my illnesses and the fact that even though I'm very sick, I don't look like someone who's disease ridden.
I wonder what her ex will think about the movie?
