Shaquille O’Neal Reveals Finances in Divorce Settlement 

As part of his divorce from estranged wife, Shaunie, the Miami Heat player has released his financial records to the public. Although he makes a whopping $1.8 million a month – that’s right, I said month – he spends $875,000 in expenses.

Shaq filed for divorce in September, accusing his wife of five years of being secretive about her finances and spending their money without his knowledge. While he didn’t reveal all of his finances (possibly because his soon-to-be-ex is entitled to half of some of those assets), he did issue a statement to the Palm Beach Post. Here’s a little rundown:

$156,116 - mortgages on three homes

$31,299 - homeowners insurance

$3,345 - phone bills

$1,610 - lawn and pool maintenance

$12,775 – food

$10,065 - electricity

$1,495 - cable TV

$5,000 - car payments (for three cars - he owns at least twice as many)

$24,300 – gas

$6,730 - dry cleaning

$17,220 – clothing

$2,305 - pets

$110,505 - vacations

$26,500 – childcare

By the way, he pays $10K a month in temporary child support and another $10K in alimony. Shaq and Shaunie have four children, and each has a child from a previous relationship.
