Daniel E. Clement, is a principal in Clement
Law and concentrates in the areas of family and collaborative law, and
matrimonial litigation in New York and New Jersey.
He is
engaged in the full spectrum of family law practice including: divorce,
annulment, separation, equitable distribution, child custody, support
and visitation, as well as the drafting and negotiating pre-nuptial,
post nuptial and separation agreements.
Daniel Clement has practiced law since 1986, and has written and
lectured on various family law issues. He writes and maintains a blog,
the
New York Divorce Report, which explores current issues in New York
family law and matrimonial practice.
He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the State University of New
York at Albany. Mr. Clement is a member of the New York City Bar
Assoc., where he is a member of the Matrimonial Committee. He has also
worked as an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Court of the City of New
York.
