Ms. Shaffer then went on to law school and received her Juris Doctor at the University of Arizona in Tucson where she also received a scholarship. Ms. Shaffer volunteered for the Domestic Violence Program and Southern Arizona Legal Aid during her time in law school. During law school, Ms. Shaffer was selected as a judicial law clerk focusing on family law matters where she gained valuable experience from the judicial perspective. Ms. Shaffer focuses her practice entirely on family law issues. She maintains membership in the San Diego County Bar and the American Bar Association.
